I would like to see a hardware addition of a 5/8 overlay hinge, Blum preferably at a type 38N. The hinge overlay drives the door overlay and thus the buyout reports.

The 1 door diagonal corner upper is missing the Door_Style option in the Door Tab when a generic door is selected.

The 1 door diagonal corner base with false front has selection on the shelf tab that should be on the door tab and visa versa.

I'd also like to control the amount the face frame projects above the tall cabinets. This option exists in the upper cabs but not the talls. That way I can make a box with a full frame that slides into a hallway pocket closet. My work around was to move the top down and trim the end panels and back.

So far, this is a fantastic library. I look forward to future revisions with more features.

Thanks

Shelf Rows, also it doesn't draw the wall fillers. Also is there anyway that the programmers could get the cabinets to come in on there respective layers in plan view (ie.Base Cabinets on the 2D base layer,Uppers on the 2D Upper layer etc.?

Once the spaces are set, you can access prompts then populate the openings with items such as shelves, doors, drawers on the fly. You can see an example of splitters in the existing combo library or viewing this power point presentation made by Lenny. forums.microvellum.com/.../entry8533.aspx

I too need something like what you describe for an appliance EP.

I use it at a stove for both wall cabinets and bases. I also use something I call an appliance end panel, this is just a short applied piece at an appliance like a dishwasher, it only needs to be 4"-5" wide so when the door is open you don't see a void and you have something to attach the appliance to (my face frame are flush to the inside of the cabinet). Where are you adding the if statement?

=IF(Slab_FE_Left=1,"FE Upper Left Slab",IF(OR(FE_Panel_Library="MV Legacy Door System",FE_Panel_Library="MV Slab"),"FE Upper Left Slab",IF(FE_Panel_Library="MV MDF Door System","FE Upper Left MDF","FE Upper Left Solid Wood")))

I would like this put into build 12 if possible

re: Frameless Library Ideas and Information Exchange

At the IWF show, I made the rounds to the hardware vendors to try and get as many 3D drawings of products as I could. The reception was less than ideal. You would think these guys are protecting nuclear secrets or something, they just dont want to give them up.

My goal is to give users as much information as I can, as well as graphic information. So far, Blum has been the only company to give us total access to everything for grapics. In return, we have made them available in the new frameless library.

We plan on making huge gains in the kitchen cabinet market, therefore, the more hardware drawings we get, the better your drawings will get.

I think it will be up to you, the buyers of hardware to start pressing vendors to make these drawings available to us and yourselves. Guess we need some squeaky wheels out there to get the oil going.

One bit of good news, we did make an arrangement with one vendor on Rollout hardware and will be working on preparing these items for distrubution as time permits.

If you have any 3D hardware drawings of specialty items, feel free to offer trades with yours truly.

Also all moldings should be placed from the cabinet side of the molding (top of base,Bottom of Crown, window side of casing)
