I am looking for a previous post that had a link for a download. This was an add to autocad for drawing tabs at the top of your drawings this made it easy to switch back and forth between phases and or drawings. This produces multiple tabs for every drawing you opened. I am asking anyone if they still have this link or if the person who posted it could repost it. One of my workstaions lost that capibility and I need to put it back. here is a picture as to what it looks like. any help on this would be appreciated. Thanks Doug.
I upload the files you are looking for at the Download center.

what does this do exactly? is it essentially the same as Ctrl+Tab to flip through drawings or does it look to recently opening dwgs?
It is pretty much the same as Ctrl+Tab but with more options (see attached pic). Using Ctrl+Tab you cycle around the open drawings without really knowing what drawings you have open.
With this you can click on the drawing you need to access immediately. This tool is excellent when you have multiple xref drawings into one, so when you need to edit one drawing you just "choose drawing - edit and save - click host drawing tab - update/save xrefs".
Thanks for the post about an hour after i made my post I found my documintation on that download and was able to retrieve it. But I am glad there are people like you that are will to help out. I think this is good that you posted this I beleive that others will find this feature useful. I know it has been a time saver for what i do and my co-workers agree. Thanks again for your responce. Doug.
I noticed that is says for ACAD 2007. Will it work with 2008?

Yes it works with 2007-08 but not 06 due to the DGW code change after 07.
Microvellum also includes the file on their cd. I don't have the disk in front of me but it is in one of the support directories along with acrobat reader and the like.
I was curious on how you install the file, MdiTab17.arx? This seems like a nice feature to have with AutoCAD.
Thank you, i appericate it!
