Processing Reports with correct Database links

I was wondering where i would have to save my custom made reports so that when i process the job, the reports will automatically update the database that they look at. Also is there a special way that i need to save the report so the links to the newest database will update automatically. I have found what i believe to be the right place to save it, but the links in the report do not update to the latest database

Any reports that you want to have in every new job need to be in your template folder.   To have them copy into your manufacturing data folder for each release, a copy needs to be stored in the root job folder.  Each time you process, a copy is taken from what is in your job folder and placed in your new release folder.

As for the reports themselves, check to ensure the following:

Go to the Database menu in Crystal Reports.
    Select SetDatasource Location
The upper portion of that box contains the Current Data Source.
Expand the tree under report, which shows the path to the current data source.
Under Properties, right click on Database Name
    Select Same as Report
This will remove the path from the database name and leave you with .\Name (ie.    .\Overdrivepro.mdb).

Save the report and it will look for the data in whatever folder that instance of the report is stored.

When i try and set the same as name it gives me the error: Could not read definitions; no read definitions permission for table or query 'LastBatch'.' Any ideas?
