    Re: Naming material files

I actually have only one material file... However, it seems that mine is set up a lot differently from any previous ones, so here goes...

We have a third party software, in which is all the relevant information for an entire job. This is then exported from the database, and put into relevant material and global variable cells.

For example: if in the third party software "classic beech" is selected as the colour, when exported into a job, all main cabinet colour pieces are made out of "classic beech". This is very handy for Cabinet Shops who are focused on only using one standard thickness of board (it never changes from 16.3mm). And is very simple to use. Any good programmer will be able to set up something simliar, transfering data from cell to cell :)

Hope this helps some people wondering what to do...

    Adrian.
