Position Description
Title: Manager of Engineering
Established and growing Commercial Furniture/Case-goods Company is looking for an Engineering Manager for their Bend, Oregon manufacturing facility. This person will be an integral member of the Management team. Major responsibilities include oversight of the daily engineering activities and personnel, development and implementation of engineering processes, design and implementation of engineering systems, integration of engineering and design software with manufacturing machinery and maintenance and control of design libraries. The ability to communicate effectively, work in a fast-paced environment and operate in a teamwork atmosphere is critical. Required attributes:
BS Degree in Engineering or related field
5 – 10 years of experience in a manufacturing facilityStrong knowledge of AutoCAD and Microvellum software5 years experience with programming & set up of CNC machineryExperience with the development of material take offsExperience with the development of Bills of MaterialsAbility to solve problemsStrong project management skillsAbility to multi-taskKnowledge of LEAN Manufacturing techniques Desired attributes:
