Located in River Falls, WI, O’Keefe is just a short (20 minute) commute from downtown St. Paul, Minnesota. We offer a small town atmosphere a short distance from the “city”; in fact, many of our associates commute from Minnesota to Wisconsin.

 

The successful engineering candidate will have the following abilities:

  • The ability to create detailed shop drawings, with a keen eye for detail, using Microvellum and AutoCAD, from client provided architectural drawings and sketches, while understanding and following shop construction techniques and guidelines, and company engineering standards.
  • The ability to perform material takeoffs, both independently and software driven, and create material requisitions accurately for optimal levels of material and labor yield.
  • The ability to communicate clearly and effectively and to work closely with Project Managers, Estimators, Production and Sales Staff to understand, and define job requirements and specifications, and to provide a clearly defined, and understandable path for shop construction.
  • The ability to manage change orders and smoothly integrate any changes into the existing job.
  • The ability to multitask and problem solve while working independently in a rapidly changing environment
  • Must have experience working with AutoCAD, Microvellum, Ardis, MS Excel or other industry related software’s.

 

The outstanding individual will have:

          University degree or experience directly related to the commercial cabinetry industry.
