Ok, I need a little help getting my reports back in order. Here's what was done:
I saw various versions of Crystal Reports in the Downloads section here, and thought "Oh cool! New versions. I'll check 'em out" We've been using the default v8.5 reports, so I downloaded the v9 package for comparison. I made a backup copy of the v8.5 reports, dropped the v9 reports into my Microvellum Template folder, and in the Microvellum Configuration screen changed my printing options from "Use Crystal 8.5" to "Use Crystal 9." Should be simple, right?
Apparently there's more to it than that, thou I'm not exactly sure what. I got errors and a blank print preview screen when I processed job reports. Huh? Oh well, I put the old v8.5 reports back into the template folder and switched the printing options back to reflect, and everything seemed to be working as it had been. But...
After thinking my reports problem was resolved, I downloaded and installed Microvellum Beta v65. I'm getting errors and blank print preview screens again. I noticed that v65 creates a whole new set of template files within it's library folder. Are these duplicates of what I was using? -or new Report files? If so, what version? How do I get 'em to work?
I'm thinking that now I should just download the Crystal Reports v8.5 Complete Package and dump it into every template folder I find (old library + new library)... or something . Haven't done so yet. Wouldn't it be the same difference if I took the .RPT files from a non-tampered with copy of Microvellum and dropped them on my computer? Advice?

p.s. Is it OK if the v65 Library has spaces in the folder name? I remember that the .ini file should NOT have any spaces (correct me if I'm wrong), but didn't know if it mattered with the folder itself...
p.p.s. If someone cares to explain all the steps necessary in replacing/updating your .RPT files, that would be fantastic. I know I'm not the only one who's done something like this, but I couldn't find any information about this anywhere (Forums, User Manual, etc.). Or maybe I am the first to goof it up, but at least those after me can avoid making the same mistakes
