    Re: EXCEL REPORTS

no way to - the only thing you can do is change the formating in your excel files that reside in the templates folder

but watch out you can not change cell or column order or the way MV displays, or the order of items

SO BACK up these before you edit them-

the best method is to make scrap Job and edit the excel documents located under that Jobs name directory - when you process the job

the new Excel doc will be the basis for the new complied excel reports.

    Re: EXCEL REPORTS

mmadjaric is right.  The excel documents are not editable.

When you first purchase Microvellum, included in your purchase is a configuration of your labels.  This would include both product and part labels.  If you have not taken advantage of this or have did not know, please contact the Microvellum Tech Support Department for help in getting this process started.

    Re: EXCEL REPORTS

The Excel report sheets usually have to be edited. It's only by dumb luck that they'll print right on your printer. I don't know about them residing in the Template folder they've always been loose in my Microvellum app folder. You have to open each one and configure column sizes so they'll fit with your printer margins according to whether you print landscape or portrait. You can do a limited amount of formatting on the fixed text but you can't be moving things around and I don't think you can add a logo or header. I didn't notice you mentioning labels but since Isaac did... The labels are Crystal. You should buy Crystal even if you have Microvellum configure your labels. You may need it to get the label printer working right. You'll definitely need it if you change printers. If you barcode you will someday need to change the Barcode font to something alphabetic for trouble shooting purposes and that can only be done with Crystal. That someday could arrive tomorrow so you might as well pony up the $ sooner than later.
